Passive House Builders

At Passive House Builders Ltd, we design and build both Passive and Energy Efficient standard homes. Our experience in building houses ensures we fully understand the necessary components needed to achieve an affordable, warm and comfortable dream home.

Our services range from assistance with initial designs, build and Passive house certification. We build Passive and Energy Efficient houses using the following building systems; Aerated Concrete Block, Timber Frame structure and ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms).

Passive House Builders are the first builders in the Republic of Ireland to have been awarded the title "Certified European Passive House Designer", awarded by the Passive House Institute, Darmstadt, Germany.

The systems we use in the building of Passive and Energy Efficient homes are breathable with air-tight internal skins, offering excellent decrement delay speed at which heat leaves the house. We use the following DEAP (Dwelling Energy Assessment Procedure), SAP (Standard Assessment Procedure for UK Buildings) and PHPP (Passive House Planning Package) in the design stage of building homes.
